Exercer son coeur
Today, I was very sad to see this video from Yang Hai Ying, a Chinese-Australian calligrapher who shows her work day after day on utube. I like her direct and honnest way, and she always shows very interesting words and explains a lot about the culture and history. The criticism she had to suffer is unfair: showing one's work on the internet ist not about bragging about it, on the contrary. I also show my scans and photos of my exercices in this blog, because I want to share the passion and the joy of doing it. The artistic value of the result is not even the topic. I share Yang Hai Ying's view: it is beautiful to share your passion, it is beautiful to have the humility of going public. I thank her for that. My next exercise will be 練心.
Mon prochain exercice sera 練心.
